I’m here to help you defend student rights, resist school board extremism, and push for policies that put kids first.

My Vision

I want schools in Wisconsin to be fair, transparent, kind, and respectful of student rights. I want every kid in Wisconsin to experience school as a place where they can thrive.

My Mission

I use my legal and advocacy skills to take on the injustices students face at school. I hold school leaders accountable to the ideals of fairness and respect for all.

Wisconsin ELPH offers these services:

  • Civil rights litigation in state and federal court on issues affecting students and their advocates — including discrimination (based on race, disability, gender and sexuality, or other protected status), free speech violations, retaliation, due process violations, and more.

  • Legal representation, consulting, and advocacy at the school, district, or agency level in discipline, harassment, and special education matters.

  • Legal representation, consulting, and advocacy in records, privacy, and open government matters involving schools and school districts.

  • Strategic, legal and media consulting for community organizations working on school issues.
